Destination weddings are becoming more and more popular and we have to admit--we love them as much as our couples who choose to have their wedding away from home do.

Whether you’re going to an exotic honeymoon location or returning to your family’s parish church in Rome or synagogue in Jerusalem, we’re ready and willing to go along.

Of course, we love all weddings. Each is a fresh challenge and keeps our artistic juices flowing. Destination weddings give us a fresh plate of sights, sounds, colors, lights, scents, not to mention the unique ambience of the place itself.

We have to think quickly. How are we best going to catch the essence of the place and the wedding in our images?

So we really have to be on our toes. We never know what we’ll encounter when we get there. Aside from jet lag, an unfortunate but acceptable professional hazard, we may arrive to find perfect light and superb angles. And just as easily, we may run into the sun being in the wrong place (it happens!), locals walking into our frame, and unexpected weather.
